Goodies
Hello Peeps,
Well! it's been more than a week and I haven't posted anything new.
So I wanted to drop in and say a quick hello and let you all know that I will be back on tract in just a moment. I have reviews and hauls to share, nail polishes and goodies.
If you have any requests please feel free to ask me by either emailing or posting below.
As for right now I am about to go steam my aching face and rinse my sinuses. Nuff love!

Purge your stash!
So! yesterday, I decided to do a bit of purging (not me) but my makeup stash! So often we get sucked into buying things that we either normally wouldn't buy or because it is such a *Good* deal! well I have found myself doing just that and in both categories.
The result if which ends up in wasting money. You see when we give in to the power of sight (We see it so, we want it),but do we actually need it? No! therefore we acquire all this stuff and we don't use them. IE: lip-gloss,cheap $1.00 palettes,sale items now if you add it all up we realize that we could have kept that money and buy something we KNOW we are really going to love and use, not just adding it to our collection and say "Oh, I have that." I have it! But do I really like it? Am I using it? How long has it been sitting here being stored? So I have found a good way to help myself is to purge (Get rid of it) give it away or toss it.
When purging you will know what you can pass on (give away) or what to trash, if your makeup has an odor chances are it needs to be in the garbage.lipsticks and lip-gloss tend to have a life expectancy of 6months to a year, So another thing to keep in mind do not overstock yourself. The lip stuff will actually let you know when it is going bad, 1 texture (It won't be as soft n smooth) so it will crack or separate, feather n bleed, become tacky or sticky 2. Odor,when purchased it may have fruity smell or not. but if you pop that top and you get a nasty musty odor! trash it!
So ,while I am not a lip-gloss fan (lipstick lover) I found myself stocking up and haven't used them or find that I really didn't like the colors or the way it felt on my lips ,I also like color that stays and few lip-glosses will stain, they are meant not to have lasting power but to add sheen and or moisture.
I have only loved two lip-glosses that are worthy of mentioning and one is a MAC plush-glass the other Buxom lips-celeste. used both and have repurchased, the MAC plush-glass in plush-luxe I have re-upped on twice. Buxom =once.
I also tossed some palettes I've had for over two years. It feels great getting rid on used old items.
Now! let me go see if I missed anything.

Comparing Coppertone & Terrcotta
Here is MAC's Coopertone blush next to Jordana's Terracotta.
As you can see the Terracotta is a bit warmer,I think. But in my opinion a close match on the skin. I think whether you are light handed or heavy you can rock any one of these blushes.

The eyeshadow is (White lie $1.99), which is also a matte white, I have something in mind for this and will post a shot when I use it.
the blusher is called (Terra Cotta), it is also a matte finish but such a gorgeous color, it has an orange/slight brown to it that looks great on the cheeks, just warms you up and gives a beautiful glow, that seems as if its coming from within.
Terra Cotta reminds me of MAC's "Coppertone blush", just a hint more orange to Terracotta. If you do not own MAC and Jordana is available, at the price point of $2.49 cents, you can't go wrong.

New stuff!
Hi guys. I told myself I wasnt going to shop for any makeup items this weekend. However, I stopped at Kmart just to get some staples for the home and Boom!! I had to walk through the makeup isle, of course, as an addict,what did you expect?, So! my local kmart now has the new Jordana cosmetics and I am in love! I picked up a blush in "TERRACOTTA", lipstick in "Simply natural", and an eyeshadow in "white lie", white lie is a matte textured shadow, and since I do not have any in my collection I thought to give it a try.
I will post pics as soon as tomorrow. And do a quick update/comparison review on the lipstick and blush. I have already compared the blush to something in my collection so I will be sure to update.
